Drew Estate Liga Privada T52 Corona Viva

Smoked one of these on the back deck after grilling tri-tip last Saturday. The smoke pairs with rare beef better than any cigar I've tried. Coffee bean and dark chocolate, no harshness, and the corona viva is the right size to actually finish.

Probably way too good for a beginner like me but I'm not mad about it. Strong but not knock-you-out strong, and tastes like fancy chocolate. My dad smoked one with me on Father's Day and he said it was the best cigar he's ever had.

T52 corona viva is what every robusto wishes it was when it grows up. Espresso, sweet hay, a little oak char that picks up around the second third. Burn was perfect on three I've smoked from this box. Top three of the year for me.

If I had to smoke one cigar for the rest of my life it'd be this. Burn is dead even, dark chocolate and earth, every single time.

Cold: hay, sweetness. 1st: oak char, espresso. 2nd: cocoa, black pepper. 3rd: leather, dries out cleanly. Construction: 5. Burn: even. One of the best out of the box this year.

MSRP keeps creeping. Construction is reliably excellent and the flavor profile is consistent box to box, which is half the value proposition. Slightly above what I'd pay if it weren't this good.
